Natural de Abarán (Murcia), begins his clarinet studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Murcia, finishing the Higher Degree with Honorable Mention.
In 1998 he moved to Paris to pursue postgraduate studies, with a scholarship for two years from the Seneca Foundation, at L’École Normale de Paris “Alfred Cortot”, obtaining the Superior Execution Title unanimously by the jury and in 1999, the Superior Diploma Concertist, also unanimously by the jury.
He has taken advanced courses with professors Enrique Pérez Piquer, Thea King, Eric Hoeprich, Colin Lawson, Miguel Espejo, Henry Boock and Larry Passin.
He has been invited to collaborate with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic of Galicia, “Pablo Sarasate” from Pamplona, Symphony of the Gran Canarias, Symphony of Castilla y León, Proyecto Gerard and Orquesta Ciutatde Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya, among others. He has been part of the Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, Symphony Orchestra of the Superior Conservatory of Music of Murcia, Orchestra of the International Festival of Young Orchestras in Murcia, Symphony Orchestra of Vallés and Symphony Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu de Barcelona.
As a soloist, he has repeatedly performed Fernando Palacios’s La mota de dust and Mozart’s Concertos for clarinet, Weber, Aaron Copland and Óscar Navarro’s II Concerto.
He has taught at the conservatories of Lorca, Segovia, Professional Murcia, Superior Castellón, Superior Murcia and held courses in different parts of the Spanish geography (Barcelona, Valencia, Murcia …)
He has been professor of the Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia and Youth of Andalusia. He is currently a solo clarinet for the Murcia Region Symphony Orchestra and a teacher at the Murcia Higher Conservatory of Music.
